MAY 22ND - LOADING... WORK IN PROGRESS...
Alright here we are again. After spending another week in the studio we can finally say the guitar sessions are done too. Phantom finished recordin' his guitars just last monday.
Next steps are gonna be the piano sessions for the song called "Such A Psycho" and the vocals sessions next month. Then we'll finally start the editing and the mixing processes.
Once again, everything is takin' the right way and we're very happy about it.
We'll have more news and more updates for you all very very soon.
Stay tuned and keep in touch...
MAY 12TH - LIKE SOMEONE SAYS... READY TO CRUSH AND BURN...
Hi, has been a while now since the last update but we have been so busy with the recordings of the new songs and some other bullshit too.
Well first of all I want to let you know that we have done with the drums and the bass sessions and the guitars are almost done too. We're gonna record just some other lead guitars next week, and then some piano just on one song. We're lookin' forward to start the vocals session's soon and the lyrics are 99% ready.
We're very satisfied with the sound and how the job is comin' out. There's a special chemistry in the band now and we never felt so inspired before.
I just want to remind you the titles of the five songs we're workin' on:
Tiger, See Ya Later, The Evil Inside, Such A Psycho, and Bad Habits.
Hopefully you'll get to hear some new music by the end of June.
Then we have other 10-15 new songs for the new album that needs to be recorded
and we're gonna choose which ones will be on the new record. Still we have no
definitive title or artwork for the album but just some ideas. We're gonna try to
upload a new myspace layout with the release of the new tracks too.
Looks like a slow process but we are makin' sure everything goes in the right way.
There are also some other issues we're takin' care of...
Just stay tuned for more updates in the next weeks,
Nikki
MARCH 22ND - ...FROM THE STUDIO...
Hi guys this is Nikki. Just wanted to let ya know that we're workin' hard on the new album. Brian and Michael have finished to record drums and bass on five songs and now I'm recordin' the guitar. I got a cool sound, I'm usin' a Marshall amp, a Gibson Les Paul and Ernieball strings for a really hot sound. I've recorded a couple songs (See Ya Later and Tiger) and I'm lookin' forward to complete my work on the other songs through the week. More updates from the studio soon, later;)
MARCH 4TH 2010 - NEW ALBUM... WORK IN PROGRESS!
Cream Pie has officially started the recordings of the new album. We're workin' on these five songs first: Tiger, See Ya Later, The Evil Inside, Such A Psycho, and Bad Habits. We got more than 20 new songs for the upcoming album, everything is goin' great and we feel really inspired. The music sounds better than ever and we're really excited about that. We can't wait to make you hear the new tunes. We'll probably upload some previews as soon as we can maybe next month. Here some other workin' titles: Downtown Pirates, Feeling, Givin' Up, Have Fun, It's All Gone, It's Gonna Be Alright, Lies, Love N' Hate, Missin' You, Runnin' Into You, Sometimes Somewhere, Supervisor, Take Me Back. No Love Remains will be on the new album. We should have a cover song on it too or at least that's the plan right now. The title of the album is still undecided.
We'll keep you informed about everything weekly so stay tuned...
AUGUST 19TH 2009 - JUST A BRIEF OF WHAT'S GOIN' ON...
Hi everybody this is Nikki writin'.
I wanted to write just a few lines to explain what's goin' on with Cream Pie lately and what the plans for the future are cuz maybe right now ya'll wondering about what we are doin'.
Like ya'll know we had some gigs in the States (Florida mainly and Alabama) between may and august. We got Alex as the new singer of the band and we're very happy to have him with us. He sounds really great and gave the band new and more energy.
First of all I'm gonna go thank every single person that helped Cream Pie in the States especially the guys at the Yonder Studios that made a fantastic job with us.
Right now we decided to take a break from the stages untill the end of the year (maybe...who knows...) so we're gonna relax for a little bit before to restart the rock n roll machine.
We're writin' the new music and we already put together some really good songs for the next album "Downtown Pirates" that we can't wait to record and make ya'll listen to.
We're really excited about these new songs and this new album is gonna rock you out like crazy. I can't really tell you when we're gonna start to record it and we don't really have a release time period. All I can say is that we'll make sure that all the songs on "Downtown Pirates" will sound good and we're not gonna release it untill we are very happy about it.
"No Love Remains" will be in the album for sure. I can give you some other workin' titles of the new tunes: "Missin' You", "It's All Gone", "Take Me Back", "Have Fun", "Downtown Pirates", "The Evil Inside", "Supervisor".
So don't worry Cream Pie is still alive and we really can't wait to rock back together on the stages. Stay tuned...we'll give ya'll new updates soon...
With love,
Nikki
JUNE 22ND - VAINS OF JENNA GOT THE SAME CREAM PIE SONG "WHORE" MAIN RIFF!
SWEDISH ROCK BAND VAINS OF JENNA GOT THE SAME CREAM PIE SONG "WHORE" (190.643 PLAYS ON MYSPACE) MAIN RIFF FOR THEIR NEW SINGLE "GET IT ON".
"WHORE" HAS BEEN PUBLISHED IN MARCH 2008 FOR THE CREAM PIE DEBUT ALBUM "DIRTY JOB". THE SONG HAS BEEN ON MYSPACE
SINCE MARCH 2008 AND IT WAS THE NUMBER ONE SONG IN THE CREAM PIE MYSPACE PLAYLIST UNTILL APRIL 2009.
SO GUESS WHAT...THE SONG WAS REALLY EASY TO FIND AND LISTEN TO ONCE ON OUR PAGE.
AT THIS POINT CREAM PIE WOULD LIKE TO ASK VAINS OF JENNA: HOW WOULD YA'LL FEEL IF LISTENING TO ANOTHER BAND YA'LL FIND OUT THAT THEY GOT ONE OF YOUR RIFFS?
AND TO EVERYBODY ELSE: IF YOU COMPARE THE TWO SONGS COULD YOU EVER TELL THAT THE TWO RIFFS AREN'T EQUAL?
