CLASSIC ROCK MAGAZINE (UK)
"Cream Pie are an Italian punk-rock, metal band, full of energy on this 11 track self-produced debut album. From the opening track "Leave in Coma" there's some fantastic guitar work and excellent solos throughout this wonderful album".
FIREWORKS MAGAZINE (UK)
“Self-produced debut CD 'Dirty Job' is a collection of eleven no-frills gritty rock anthems. There's enough life in tracks like 'Long Leader', 'Tokyo Nightz' and 'Love Is Blind' to please any fan of the genre, and shows Cream Pie could be one to watch out for”.
AMPLIFIED MAGAZINE (UK)
"Cream Pie are an Italian punk metal band, sleazy full of attitude and energy on their debut album.
There's some great guitar work and the majority of the tracks fall into a Glammy metal / punk sound the likes of which made Motley Crue a monster"
POWERPLAY MAGAZINE (UK)
"Promising throwback to early Vain and Motley Crue".
ON THE ROAD MAGAZINE (BRAZIL)
"Zip it" is one of my favorites, with that stick refrain that doesn't come out from your brain, but we still have one of the album's best: "Electric Blue", with a supreme recording, that proves that this is a must have album, a very good refrain and guitar work.
Out of question this album is recommended. RATING: 8.5/10
METALWAVE.IT (ITALY)
Surely the guitars do a good job, also with the help of a precise rhythm section. “Dirty Job”
is a must have album for who loves the glam music, especially Motley Crue but Hanoi Rocks too, and Cream Pie is a band that you have to check out. RATING: 69/100
ROXXZONE.COM (ITALY)
Recently Cream Pie has been touring the United States supporting “Dirty Job”. The album contains 11 hard and wild street rock songs with great refrains and melodies. The quality is high and constant enough for all the cd duration (so it’s hard to choose a best song). Is comprehensible therefore the American audience interest but is not comprehensible the lack of a record deal because Cream Pie is one of the few bands of the Italian scene that really deserve it. RATING: 7.5/10
DISTORSIONEURBANA.COM (ITALY)
“Cream Pie proposes a new kind of rock full of different styles very good mixed each others, with winning riffs that remain overhead since the first listening”.
CATHOUSE.IT (ITALY)
Slashin’ riffs, effective bass notes, a not exaggerate but powerful drumming, and a dirty raw voice create eleven songs of street glam rock style. Aggressive guitar riffs are melted fine with the singer voice. The next works could bring the band to the top. Forty minutes of street rock played with anger and conviction.
METALBETA.IT (ITALY)
The “Dirty Job” sound is good at all and the band performance is optimal in everything. They play a powerful hard rock in “Leave in Coma”, “Long Leader”, and “Hot Sensation”, letting sparking 80’s pearls like “Whore”, “Zip It”, and “Love is Blind”. Cream Pie left me without words ‘cause some American Top Ten jewels like “Tokyo Nightz”, “Electric Blue”, and “So Bad”. There are some power songs like “Face to Face” and the big masterpiece “Hungry for Mayhem”. Cream Pie has a big future ahead and this is surely a band to support. I advise “Dirty Job” to the lovers of this kind of music, and I’m anxiously waiting to listen to some new stuff from this band. RATING: 8/10
ROUGHEDGE.COM (USA)
Italy's Cream Pie seem to have done enough to really earn some notice on this their debut album. Cream Pie obviously recognized the fact that genuine hooks and a solid rock backbone go a long ways. These guys dug their heels in deep and obviously practiced their chops enough to construct some head bobbing tunes. The sound is overall more of a mix between old and new as I hear acts like Motley Crue, Faster Pussycat and early LA Guns, but also there are glimpses of bands like Crashdiet and Vains of Jenna as well. If you listen hard enough, there is a slight punk rock edge lurking down underneath the surface on a few songs. The vocals are raw and maybe a little like Taime Down at times. Cream Pie are slightly heavier than a number of younger hard rock bands trying to put their feet in the door these days. The majority of the material plugs along with enough attitude. With "Dirty Job," Cream Pie have proven they can work up a collection of songs that identifies them as one of the better young hard rock bands of today. RATING: 3/4
GET READY TO ROCK (UK)
Italian band Cream Pie remind me a bit of Faster Pussycat, and a bit of Vain. The band have already toured the States and are off there again at the beginning of next year and the album is extremely listenable. All in all “Dirty Job“ is a good album and amongst the 11 tracks on offer, the highlights include 'Whore', 'Zip It', 'Electric Blue', 'So Bad' and 'Hungry For Mayhem'. Certainly a band to keep an eye on. RATING: 4/5
HEAVYWORLDS.COM (ITALY)
There are many hits in this album starting from the coupled in the begin like “Leave In Coma”-“Long Leader”, where the rhythms are often incandescent and the drums accelerate with no brakes. The “Tokyo Nightz” refrain can just exalt you at the first listening; triggered party atmospheres accompanied with the more dragging refrain of the release are in the next song “Electric Blue”, probably the symbol song on “Dirty Job”. It’ s hard to don’t be bewitched from the unconventional and naughty “Face to Face” or “So Bad”. Get your attention on the rhythm section that is never just in the background or on the several and measured lead guitars. RATING: 7.5/10
METALDEMONS (ITALY)
Eleven tracks surely inspired by the rock of the 80’s and the dirty attitude of Guns N’ Roses, Motley Crue and Wasp. Already from the first track “Leave in Coma” the songs show anthems, naughty lyrics and maybe simple and abused riffs, and stick refrains that recreate the damn period in issue. The result is a pleasant album, full of beautiful songs (it’s hard to pick one up between "Long Leader", "Whore", "Zip It" and "Hot Sensation").
RAW AND WILD (ITALY)
The cd sound is raw, rough, it comes from the street, and it doesn’t hide the punk attitude. “Leave In Coma”, “Tokyo Nightz”, “Hot Sensation” and “Hungry For Mayhem” are the more pleasant songs. Citation detail deserves “Electric Blue” that let come back in the memory so many nights in the first 90’s. This is an album for all the people that have no forgot how to have fun at parties. RATING: 7/10
HARDSOUNDS.IT (ITALY)
This band proposes eleven powerful sleaze rock tracks made in Usa. The sound is fresh and the melodies render the album pleasant already at the first listening, characteristic is the adrenaline and slashing sailing point of the songs. I feel myself in duty to signal this interesting promise of the glam/sleaze scene that with a better production could seriously go to the top. RATING: 78/100
SHAPELESSZINE.COM (ITALY)
Winning and anger guitar playing, simple but powerful drumming and a beautiful raw voice that seems an encounter point between Vince Neil and Sebastian Bach; that’s a good job: in “Dirty Job” there’s fun for the most part of the time. Cream Pie has done a good step ahead. Congratulations! RATING: 7/10
STRUTTERZINE (HOLLAND)
CREAM PIE from Italy have released a very strong catchy CD that contains 11 hardrocking tracks. Although released independently, it looks and sounds very professional. With catchy uptempo tunes like "Leave in coma", "Long leader" and "Whore" they are showing they have a dirty mean rock and roll sleazy sound. Also adding to this, the band has a great guitarplayer who completes the band's sound. RATING: 8.3/10
THE ROCK DUNGEON (GERMANY)
The eleven tracks on "Dirty Job" are a mix of glam and sleazy and punk rock of Backyard Babies. And hearing the tracks there's something like the first albums of Faster Pussycat, La Guns, Vain, and Motley Crue.
"Leave in Coma", "Long Leader" and "Whore" are extremely original.
Cream Pie with their self produced "Dirty Job" put down the start of a promising career. RATING: 7.5/10
HARD 'N' HEAVY (ITALY)
Cream Pie has succeeded in the not easy task to record an optimal album, self produced and optimally manifactured, in its entirety, truly puts in prominence the hard job of a quoted formation in a position to more resisting the comparison with the act today in circulation. "Dirty Job" has a very good songwriting quality and linearity, really full of optimal compositions for example like the sensual and guitar oriented "Tokyo Nightz" or the hit single "Whore" characterized by a great refrain that fans of Motley Crue could really love. RATING: 4/5
METALIZZED.IT (ITALY)
The stickin' riff of "Long Leader", the stickin' refrain of "Whore", and the anger of "Hungry for Mayhem". All good hearing for the the fans of Motley Crue and Guns N' Roses. RATING: 7.5/10
